just looked at the prices that Simplex ratchet toe jacks are making on ebay unreal ... should be able to hire some from most places Dylan ... the mechanical jacks are much faster to use

Well if you can get a telehandler to one end, I’d lift that end up stick a few blocks of wood just over halfway down the cabin to the appropriate height then lower the telehandler so the other end, (where it’s close the the other cabin) rises so you can then block that end to the right height, then simply lift with the telehandler once again to level the cabin up, block up job done

If you can get to one end with a forklift lift it up at that end and put a block in just past half way along the unit then lower it again until the other end is the height you want with the Packers in then lift the forklift end again to the height and pack it level.

only issue with this guys is the cabin will travel slightly ..... unless done incrementally .... ok as long as it doesn't matter or doesn;'t have to line up with services under it

Having looked again there's fork pockets on the end of the blue one pick it up and shove it out the way then lift each end of the grey one and put the blue one back

I use hi-lift jacks on 20' containers all the time. Really easy way to lift and / or level a container by yourself. You preferably need two, one on each corner of the end your lifting and just alternate between them both one click at a time. Once lifted, sleeper under and move to the other end.

My father has an original cabin jack somewhere for loading jack leg cabins on to lorry's it's like a farm jack on steroids

Whats peoples thoughts on using trench blocks to hold them up.

they hold up houses so shouldn't be an issue

Personally I wouldn't build my house off trench blocks but plenty do. I don't know how they would last above ground with weather at them

trench blocks would prob need ply on top not to put a point load on them

Trench blocks would be perfect just put a thin bed of sand down first and between or bed them on gobbo to stop them rocking

Well been and done it today. The blue 1 was just 2 toilets and tiny
So moved that out of the way and used 6" and 4" concrete solid block and packers. Done by 10am. Then all day messing about with steps, handrail and flags.

Fork lift then i levelled them up with a pump truct
