do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
They are very naive. Even if ai replacing them is a way off, India have been doing it for years. Also quite a few I speak to boast of how little work they do. At some point do they not think their management will just cut their hours.
and that is the issue ... they're boasting how much they don't do .....:mad:

Pam's lad, Josh has worked from home for some time now and gets more done at home than if he was in work (works for the land reg.) - no interruptions from colleagues who're not as 'switched on' as he is ...

Agree. WFM is not the devil we think it might be . Historically pretty much ALL work was done from home, albeit not with a computer and a phone …. But people going to sit in a cubicle for 8 hours a day is quite a modern concept.
I’ve met plenty of people who brag about how little they do over the years, before WFH became the phenomenon it now is.
Personally I think it can offer a more flexible and understanding and often more productive approach to working for many people than before. Not all of us are lucky to have productive on-site rewarding employment.

My misses is wfh for Phillips in their European team, so all her meetings are over zoom/teams so makes sense. If she has to have a face to face normally has to fly to Amsterdam. She does put a good shift in as well gets alot of praise. The CEO of Phillips has informed the company recently though that he wants people back in office 3days a week. Too many half empty office spaces.

thank God someone is actually holding these pr*cks to account

" BAM requested €25million to change the positioning of air conditioning grilles in operating theatres. The contractor told the board the changes would take six months to complete and ‘would impact the substantial completion date’. ‘It cost less than 1% of that. It cost less than €200,000 and it took a few weeks, ....... The hospital was originally scheduled to be completed in 2020 with a budget of €650million. The bill has spiralled to in the region of €2.2billion and has been delayed on 14 occasions. ....... open by the end of next year, but added that it depends on the building firm committing to the completion date of June 2025. ...... €750million of claims have been assessed so far, and that BAM has been found to be entitled to just €30million of this sum ....... "

how much of this down to "honest invoicing" ?
