KX015 Boom Greasing

Should be able to see it if you put arm on ground and push if the first few mm arm moves and not machine etc
I finally got round to doing this and there is a little bit of play there. But, uh oh, there's a lot of play in the big vertical pins (king pin(s)?), and even a noticeable gap between the bush and the block for the lower one. Are these feasible for me to replace without any lifting gear or bush pushers? I would be able to hang/support the boom from the roof of a shed & would try cutting a slot in the bush with a reciprocating saw (or could buy a rotary tool) to make it easier to hammer out.

If that's not practical, can I just try and ignore it and carry on using the machine with the play it has? Or will that cause some other damage further down the line?

Thanks,
Adam

that pin is fixed in those bushes - and rotating in the centre one that you can't see

So it is! Does that make it easier or harder to replace? My issue isn't the rotation of the boom, it's that when digging that connection rocks back and forth a lot - e.g. the gap I marked shrinks & widens.

more likely to be the unseen gap in the bushes out of sight that will have worn is the cause  -- they may even be non existent any more :(

It’s what I do!
Turn the top round, get an axle stand under the boom base ( circled in red) make sure you have a grader on, knock the king post top and bottom pins out, use the offset ram to push apart the hoses do stretch out enough, can’t remember on that, if it has top hat bushes??

Red circle is where you put the axle stand
