kubota kx36-3

Hi all, I recently bought an Kubota kx36-3, the roll cage was detached and the owner had misplaced the bolts. I cannot find any info on the size I need to re-fit the roll cage, any knowledge out there, thanks

Probably metric, you just need a pair of verniers to find out the diameter.also buy a set of thread gauges, they’re pennies but save hours.

worst comes to worst load it up and take it to a bolt shop and see what fits.

Metric bolts are fairly course you can normally eyeball them off a tape measure just measure the outside of the thread

I remember the new ones need a small as well bolt or two for the handrail I don't know if it's the same on the older ones

Alot of kubotas have metric fine bolts... if the thread looks fine then they could be.

Yes then put a smaller head (spanner size) on top just to confuse you

The french often have different sized heads on the nuts and bolts of a particular thread size, which I thought was ridiculous until it was explained that you only need one set of spanners to undo (ie a 12mm and a 13mm as opposed to 2x 13mm for example).

If a person doesn't have 2 x 13mm wrenches at a minimum, they ought not be wrenching..... Ill load of picture of my collection later.

Yes but a real pain if you are using a spanner and a socket and need to swap ends
And who doesn't have a handful of 13mm spanners lying about
