My wall purlins are hung on the outside of the frame.

I’ve only just noticed that they’ve even mastic’d the trunking where they had to notch it around the steels. Ace!

No screw slot. I’m going to back it right out now and see what happens….

now lock the swivel on the column and adjust it up 'til the rolling travel is also locked

nope ...... sold it for £2.5k ... to a dealer ...... who didn't value/want any of the 3/4t of drill bits up to 3.5" on #5MTs which due to lack of time to punt ........ went in the skip ... well a hell of a lot did - kept a few

should've said lock column then back it off slightly before adjusting up ... will not get the pinch tight enough on just the nuts IMHDO ... then try full lock pressure and adjust as required, if necessary

Yeah, I can see how the lever locks both actions now. Couldn’t work out what was holding the travel but I think it was a combination of being dogged up and sitting for a year. Maximum beans through the wheel once everything was backed off and away she went! (I’m pretty sure I’m not strong enough to break anything on this without mechanical assistance!).

Yeah, I can see how the lever locks both actions now. Couldn’t work out what was holding the travel but I think it was a combination of being dogged up and sitting for a year. Maximum beans through the wheel once everything was backed off and away she went! (I’m pretty sure I’m not strong enough to break anything on this without mechanical assistance!).

except for the fwd/rev. switch perhaps ..... they'm pretty fragile and 'kin expensive to replace

does that have a two speed motor ? seems gated for two ranges ?

take the cover off and see if there're two sets of contacts/cables ... it obviously slides horizontally in the off position

where's yer suds MB? .... drill is ground slightly off centre, hence the wobble ...... those sliding rack vices are the bollox ... had a couple and they gripped in some order ... she's nice and quiet Boyo

It doesn’t have a suds pump sadly - I will probably add one if it’s not a billion dollar fix! That’s why I gave it a good dollop of oil before drilling (not ideal but better than going in dry…)
The drill is the one in it when collected - I just wanted to see it working.
I’m made up with it at £200/tonne!!!

can't see all of it but guessing 2.5t
#4 or #5 taper ... guessing 5 looking at the speed range ...... it will outlast you and yer kids Boyo ........ fairy bottle with some suds in, to play on it .. MUCH kinder to the drill tips ..... or pressurised spray bottle with the nozzle off, just to get a flow on there
