JCB 8018 Fuse box???

It's in the engine compartment. Right side above the battery. I'll take a picture when I get home.

Interesting. It's my first digger so I don't know any different, ie, that's its old school. How do the modern diggers work?
It's a 2016 machine so not super old IMHO.

Engcons are now installed either with their own joysticks with a roller for every function or using diggers that have ‘twin aux’- so a proportional electrical roller on each joystick, one used for rotate and one for tilt.

Proper old school. How old is the machine? That system was in vogue for a few years maybe ten years ago as a ‘cheap’ entry level system, before engcon decided they needed to bow down to EMYH and only sell full control systems (that’s an inside joke btw). Was common on rail machines for a while longer.

You’ll be in good company when @V8Druid hears that you’ve got the same tilty setup as him!

I've moved the seat all the way forward and nothing there.

this is an older canopy model, but can see where the fuse box is on the right side of the battery storage compartment (as you're sat in the seat) above the slew lock pin

Yeah I've had a good few of your model
but my last one was 8014 not 5
But like I said initially its in that lot somewhere I'm fairly sure because I had a bit of grief with a main fuse blowing and even asked on the old forum I reckon.

If anybody on forum who dont know how to check a fuse with your mobile phone Just open calulater put one end of fuse on any number then touch the other end with finger I expect most on here know that

Iirc its open engine canopy back and its top right ?
Can we see the photos of engcon on the machine, sounds handy

I've looked in here multiple times and can't see anything, I feel dumb.
Do I need to disassemble anything? I did remove the air filter but that didn't make any more room.
Will check again today...
