Newish to my JCB 8018 and it has 3 outside lights, 2 at top of cab and one on the boom. A few months ago they worked at different times but now they don't, at all. I've already checked the connections outside.
Is there a fuse box I can check on this machine? I feel pretty dumb for not finding it but for the life of me, I really need these lights to work.
I looked in a manual but the pic they show doesn't look like what I see on the cab.
The only "box" with wires i can find is, I think, the roto tilt controls.

Many thanks for any tips!

Thanks.
Double checked the engine bay at the back and I can't see anything resembling a fuse box / container.
Here's a pic...

I'll add a roto tilt (the engcon) pic tomorrow.

Have you looked behind the air filter. I definitely remember taking an annoyingly large amount of things apart to access it on an 8014. Follow the loom from the dash as it goes to the fuse board.

What is a loom?

This little box and foot pedals plus joystick buttons. It was included when I bought the machine used.
Proper old school. How old is the machine? That system was in vogue for a few years maybe ten years ago as a ‘cheap’ entry level system, before engcon decided they needed to bow down to EMYH and only sell full control systems 🤣 (that’s an inside joke btw). Was common on rail machines for a while longer.

You’ll be in good company when @V8Druid hears that you’ve got the same tilty setup as him!

Interesting. It's my first digger so I don't know any different, ie, that's its old school. How do the modern diggers work?
It's a 2016 machine so not super old IMHO.
Here's the name plate, can u make out the serial number by any chance?

I think on these era machines you can lift the cab to access things easily.

Tho I know they are known for exhaust flexi letting go and been a twat to replace.
