I've always wondered- what do you do over there with all the thickos who would usually be on traffic management or climbing the trees and handballing the branches through a chipper?
Educate them in a system that doesn’t produce thickos would be a start!!
We do have a tendency in this country to want to give more of a failing system to children at a younger age!! Perhaps that is another thread!!!

Was just thinking as I looked at the pic, how many nights of road closures would we have over here to do the same job 🤔🤬

You simply couldn't do it without a road closure in this country. The standard of driving is just to poor. And everyone is just so impatient.
The dumbest thing is these same people complain about road works and lack of road maintenance but their own driving makes everything 10x bigger deal than it would have to be if they just slowed down.

We also have a pretty crowded country - less traffic on the road would help! Although I wonder how they do it in even more densely populated countries. Japan for example actually has really nicely maintained infrastructure.

And a very disciplined society. Xenophobic, too, no immigration. Must be quite nice to be Japanese!

Just been looking at pictures of the old cat 432e....is it missed, Yes....is it missed because I've been turning jobs away for it...no. Times change. Used to love driving it but in the last 12mths I've only had to hire a backhoe loader in for 2days on self drive and I hired a 3cx and operator for 1 day (for less than I used to go out at too)

One day I hope to have another but there's more profit in the minis and the grab lorry.

I was surprised the Midi CX did not take off, far more sold in the states than here, it was launched just before the Bosch Rexroth hystat tranny for small tractors that allows them to do 25 mph. That said JCB have been trying to sell the concept of a removable hoe since at least the 1968 2B (the 3 was the same but with a fixed hoe) might though have been viable on a smaller lighter tractor. Maybe the Midi had faults that I know not of?
