Is the backhoe loader a thing of the past?

Half servo and a switch added so you don't have to be facing backwards for the back end to work i seem to remember seeing on someones one day.

Yes, a button on the right joystick so you can work the back facing forward.

My first experience with digger was the trusty 50b. Even had a super fancy go pedal that also doubled as a back pedal.

Half servo was a good compromise. My uncle has one, servos on seat and separate handle for front bucket. The new Cat with servos on the seat you can walk with it, the dipper and the front bucket can be used at the same time.

My last two were like that, sod ever going back to manual levers on a backhoe!
The new machines on manual levers were horrible, painfully slow with really heavy levers - I have no idea why they changed anything to do with the manual machines from the 2005 era , they were perfect IMO(I just no longer wanted one!)

Also my opinion on ‘walking’ a backhoe out is that you should never have gone in with it in the first place!

Tend not to use one if ground is that bad these days just means more to tidy up

Mine would also be a 50b, only without the fancy “go pedal” and a fair bit of play in most bushes. Still beat a shovel mind!

How do the huddigs work?

Driving forward you have loader on your right stick and with terrain steering activated you have steering on left joystick rocker button. And with the press of a button will you have full control of the back loader facing forward. turn around facing backwards and and the joystick works like normal, back and forth on a rocker Switch and the drive pedal to move, and you change between steering on left joystick rocker button and Rototilt with a foot paddle

The Huddig we have at work also how full radio control.
Scares the s**t out of people when it starts up and driving without anyone sitting inside

Last time I walked one out was after someone else had got it bogged and just walked off. Probably the best thing they could have done.

No it does not control the aircondition.
Every hydraulikk funksjon and driving yes, top speed on remote is 20 kph
and det hydraulikk are just a smooth on the remote as from inside the cabin

Depend on spec but I'd guess you could easy spend that. There probably a bit like buying a high spec menzi walker to do the work of a 5 ton 360

About £ 275K Plus whatever you pick from the ekstra list, fram the local dealer in Norway
