Pretty rare secondhand but I guess that’s because people hold on to them.

I got mine secondhand for £3600+vat off FB.
As above don't remember seeing another one for sale, got very lucky with it.

There was some on ebay a while back, but I cant recall the name, a google said it was the brand before it was called iDig. 1 system had a very basic screen, and the other had what looked the same screen and sensors as the current type iDig.

When you've bought and sold a few things you can tell a lot over the phone.
On the contrary, a very genuine guy who'd done well for himself, bought a farm and used the iDig with a digger he'd bought to set up a glamping business for his retirement. It came in the original box with all the sensors and setup gear and he talked me through how to zero it.
Given that he was six hours away but worked in the office at Dartford a few days each month, meeting at the Premier Inn with some cash was the logical thing to do. We had a couple of pints, chatted about machinery, motorbikes and the like for an hour.
The big giveaway to him being a genuine enthusiast was that he couldn't stop going on about @Gunners

..... but done similar, usually with a large mate in tow

Well it seems the firm that offered me a deal didn’t want my money!! Was promised a call today to get the install booked in but no call so I’ll try again, if anyone wants to supply me a 2d connect system with install on 2 or 3 machines (for now) let me know or any contacts that you may have.
