Seen this in a quarry when I was tipping some spoil recently . Owner reckons one of his first machines . Says he’d like to restore it bit sadly knowing him I can’t see it ever getting done .
A friend has this as his “yard machine” that he paid very little for when scrap was on its arse about 15 years ago. It’s done a mega amount of work and just keeps going!I’d like to find an old early hitachi , uh052 or uh053
Or a liebherr R900 or R902 or even a liebherr duck A900B or C so that I could restore as a retirement project . I’d have a few years to gather up parts required . Need a shed first though , actually need a house firstthen shed

Very nice ! . Is that a 902 ? Ex Johnny Mould ?A friend has this as his “yard machine” that he paid very little for when scrap was on its arse about 15 years ago. It’s done a mega amount of work and just keeps going!

I used to do exactly the same when going into plumb centre or peak elecUp until a couple of years ago, there was a local guy, Tony flint who used to restore Hymacs. Used to stop and have a chat whenever I called at local Plumb center to pick up parts as he was next door. He’s retired now and sold workshop. I Found this vid of one he restored
