Always fancied a tl1000s/r but everyone told me there deadly. What's it like trying to get work over there? I would have thought the frenchies would rather walk bare foot over hot Coals before employing an English.

TL are a handful when you push on yep bu th still a great motor in them.

Work wise it's not been our experience - we have French/Dutch/English customers and have been accepted well by the vast majority of locals - doesnt work for many for various reasons but learn the language put the graft in do a good job and it can plan out.

I’ve got a 1971 David Brown 880 Selectamatic that I can always find something to do with + bought an old Lister engine off fleebay, bought it as a non runner, bits missing kind of thing bit disappointed as I got it going a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was going to take a lot longer to get running.
