It is a metabo but I think the batteries are snap-on's own so i doubt they fit other metabo gear.
Have had a good few bits of snap-on gear over the years, put there guns up against others with top results so I've stuck with them. They do most the tools I will ever need as I don't really do any joinery work etc.
To be fair, I aim to be as dismissive of SnapOn gear (and it's cost/benefit ratio) as others are fanatical about it.
It's all about balance
I don't do joinery work, but I do butcher wood on occasion. I have Makita because I bought a 12v drill years ago as a nipper (setting up me first toolbox aged 16, from Scewfix
How times change and tools move on. Eagerly awaiting 2025 and my first laser chainsaw.
