What is the solution though.
Back in the day it would have been survival of the fittest, nowadays everyone survives.

Cut welfare massively so it gets back to something resembling survival of the fittest. No more overweight unemployed. You want unemployed people to be half starving and needing work. This would also have the benefit of dissuading all these economic "asylum seekers". Unfortunately even this labour govt with their majority couldn't do anything with welfare or 2 child benefit cap. So we have to wait for a government that can do it or a market reckoning that forces their hand. I think doob is onto something with fiat money being a con. They never deal with anything properly just print more dough. What is the solution though.

Most of the kids that are hopeless have hopeless parents and grandparents. Very hard to break that cycle. As much as we love to moan about kids these days ..it's all starts a long way before that.
If we train/allow them to be be like that ...can hardly blame em?
My 14 year can operate a machine and handle any tools pretty competently ..he won't have his own phone till he's at least 16.
Bring em up like you want them to act and there's half a chance.
We grew up with an estwing and sawdust as toys no telly in the house.
Kids are a product of their up bringing usually.

Still incentivises the parents to have them though. Apples dont fall far from the tree.Too many out there just having kids to get more benefits, this just exacerbates the issue.
is it possible to cut back the benefits for parents of multiple children but then somehow have a daycare like setup that makes sure any kids they do have are properly fed, washed and clothed. At the end of the day the kids shouldn’t suffer for the parents decisions.

There are a lot of people who are financially illiterate, but worse who are jealous of people who have achieved any financial success and feel they are entitled to the same without putting in the same effort or making the same sacrifices. However they get all funny that I'm in a better financial position than them. Despite the fact I bought my house whilst being on the tools and not paid particularly well. I just did huge amounts of overtime and night shifts.
Oh the flip side, there are plenty of folks who have benefited from luck / good upbringing / accidental good health / generational wealth / nepotism or just being born at a better time who assume that anyone else with LESS than them is down to the other persons poor judgment rather than their own good fortune. There are a lot of people who are financially illiterate, but worse who are jealous of people who have achieved any financial success and feel they are entitled to the same without putting in the same effort or making the same sacrifices.
