Glad I’m not a politician …. Half the countries media scurrying around to find any dirt that can f**k your job prospects up. No lover of any politician but it’s just a minor thing that hasn’t cost the country or saved her any money. No way a new chancellor is going to deliberately f**k up something like that as they go into a new job. Just pointless s**t throwing and disrupting someone trying to do their job.

A lot more important things to be looking at as a country. Just needs a public admission of error and apology, and perhaps an acknowledgment that there is too much red tape in this nation.
The hand of Peter msndleson all over this

Personal opinion, everyone tries to defend these pricks with the old "haven't you made a mistake" line.

That's fair enough when the mistake was 20 years prior to them taking office and the made a slightly out there comment online or dressed up as Göring for a distasteful Halloween party but the day your elected I fully believe things change overnight.

It's especially relevant for Labour.... A party that pretends to be about what's right. Every single one of these issues has been ruled as "I'm so sorry, I didn't realise I needed to do that". No your f****ng not, you have a comparable army of f****ng lackeys who could and should be tasked with ensuring your following the law of the land..... Worst still when you wake up in the morning as a MP and are confronted with whether you should pay the £100 tax or not you don't ask the question "what can I get away with" you ask the question "what is the safe choice".

Not one, Not one single party is fit to run a bath.... Let alone the country. Reform will ultimately collapse under its own bigotry, the Tory's need to either wheel bumbling Boris out again proclaim that he isn't f****ng sorry for what has proven to be something everyone else did anyway unless they where unemployed or perpetually boring or just abandon being a party.... Labour need the Irish to not botch there next conference. The Lib Dems need to put on big boy trousers and the Green party, oh s**t the green party are actually attempting to no longer advocate to eating f****ng lentils and building a million new yurts and are actually being sensibleish.

At this point and in some desperation it'd be nice if Charlie found time to channel the spirit of his Pa, become a bit more racist and snatch power back from his incompetent cabinet before hopefully having some kind of coronary and handing power to the next generation..... Because whilst I'm not a royalist I'm sure dearest Willie could do something positive. He's got all the makings of a ruler. I mean he's already bald for a start.

I have got one of Clarksons books sat by my bed, it’s about 20 years old and is a collection of his newspaper columns. Mostly very funny and apt, and we are all still arguing over the same s**t 20 years later.
@JD450A .. you are very eloquent and certainly have a touch of Clarkson in your speech 🤣 and should have your own column. Although I suppose columns are a thing of the past and it’s called something else now.

Biggest problem with our country is everything is all talk talk talk.. what to do something let’s talk about it some more! Oh your doing something about it, best stop what your doing and talk about it!
We get nothing done!!! The talking part is costing more than the actual job at hand!!
We make red tape to enforce the red tape that contradicts all the other red tape!!
It’s getting to the point that your better just doing whatever it is and letting the red tape tangle itself up so much so that it forgot what it was stopping in the first place!
Crack on!

There's a reason for that, I struggled with stuff to read at school. I cannot for the life of me get on with fiction the only book of such I've read and enjoyed being hitchhiker's guide by Douglas Adams.

At 13ish I found i quite enjoyed his witterings. Hence probably why I do similar.

The full volume of HHGTTG is very good.
