24 x 24 x 2 high density paving slabs you can barely lift and like cast iron - awesome - also come in 3ft x 2ft

I acquired some 3’x2’x2-1/4” ex-council slabs. About 10 stone each, but when they were down they were down. They were just laid on type one and sand but don’t move even when Dalrod came to empty the cesspit. I think laying forty of those put me off slabs for life.

once garage is ready which isn't far away now this will have a big tv, a poo table a bed sofa, and be a nice open space to chill out

I can assure you not a single penny (she pays the 2400 a month nursery fees) for my garden room came from my partner, instead I look on it as my new 3 ton and 3 ton track dumper, the extension is a new 5 and 8 ton and a new pickup and probably a new 3 ton dumper and micro and welfare cabin and 3 trailers and still not at what its cost lol (crying emoji) lol

they are some sort of weight aren't they .... lifted and laid some of those a while ago

We use them all the time for oil tank bases . Buy them a pallet at a time . Bastard great things . Tried different tongs over the years but 2 pairs of hands the best way.
When I was young there were a lot of free ones from Widemouth holiday park and I brought them back on the back of dad’s old Sherpa and in my Austin Maestro then laid them into a free patio . They were imperial not metric so it made things awkward when I started having to buy some newer ones.

ones I have are unbelievably hard .. even a diamond disc struggles ... 'spect they're in excess of 50 yr old

As a nipper working the holidays for a mate one job stands out...
Removing 3 wagon loads from a job.
Stinking hot and loading them up into a 7.5t Reno is a hateful job...all be hand. And a dodgy old sack truck with wheel barrow wheels that had a mind of it's own. What a week.
