My haulage contractor I use for my larger machine has just put up rates by 20% siting increased fuel and add blue costs as well as increased drivers wages.

136.6 on the DCI card for next week. 10p a litre jump..... so il be filling everything up over the weekend

got real ear ache last night for taking the old bridge and coming cross country through Itton / Devauden / Raglan ......haven't seen the old bridge so busy in many years
it's usually dead and can do the bridge to Aber in 25 mins normally, max. ....
this morning however .......
seems that the M4 was shut between Magor and the Coldra at Zooport yesterday afternoon and everything was getting routed off at Magor and through what used to be The Queensway, which ran through the centre of Llanwern steel works and which is now the A4810, looking at Guggle ....
must've been carnage at the Zooport end, as it runs into town and single lane roads mostly
Thank **** I took the M48 and old bridge, even with all the traffic using it .....
Vicki left 90 minutes before us from Longleat and we got home just before her ... three miles further on than her place

Was 176 on pump earlier. Filled lorry on way back to make use of it been 149 on the card, next week is 161 on the card. All inc vat

Filled up van on Friday morning as it was dry. Got the fuelcard email to say going up from Saturday so stuck 40l in some cans last thing on Fri.
