do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
and this is why Rob Taylor said to me many years ago ... never work side on to a hole - always square on, so's you stand a chance of getting the flock out o' there
Seems daft on the face of it , but it might be cruel to call it natural selection, could be lack of experienceand this is why Rob Taylor said to me many years ago ... never work side on to a hole - always square on, so's you stand a chance of getting the flock out o' there
brave ... get down to the diff casings and it gets interesting/excitingPlenty of pulling myself around going on today![]()
I dare say it's like with the 432, you couldn't let yourself get stuck as that was your ride back home too.brave ... get down to the diff casings and it gets interesting/exciting
Certainly more cautious then on tracks! Of course the biggest problem with pulling your self around I'm finding is maintaining the balance between using the traction of the wheels combined with a bucket pull/push. Obviously as soon as a wheel is free/lifted slightly the power all goes to it and it's of no help at all few times when it was spinning badly I found it easier just to pivot myself sideways onto new ground- do the front first, swing round and hop the rear over too a bucket pull is only as good as the ground your pulling atbrave ... get down to the diff casings and it gets interesting/exciting
That's when you know it was a good decision.I've done more in the last week than I did all year with the Case
It was definitely the right decision. But so far I've only done stuff around the village, haven't ventured more than a few miles. Tbh though I've already thoughts of it's upgradeThat's when you know it was a good decision.
It's definitely going to die by about November. Make sure you sell it to me by October.....It was definitely the right decision. But so far I've only done stuff around the village, haven't ventured more than a few miles. Tbh though I've already thoughts of it's upgradenot that there's anything really wrong with mine it's just old and high houred and does slightly scare me going too far from home in case something happens. It's just the cost of something fresher that's not so appealing!
I shudder to think of the cost of that. When is a Duck not a Duck?
I know that feeling! Gone the other way from you though, from wheels to tracks!I've done more in the last week than I did all year with the Case
Exactly big bloated waste of timeI shudder to think of the cost of that.
What’s the point anyway?
Without ruffling feathers on here (I know that feeling! Gone the other way from you though, from wheels to tracks!
Actually sod it this is the Duck thread- feathers should be ruffled!Without ruffling feathers on here () I now know that a backhoe wouldn't be for me either. All the stuff I've done recently a 180 would be a pain in the arse
Yes ! You have seen the light , post your answer now on the other thread , are 180 backhoes a thing of the past ?Actually sod it this is the Duck thread- feathers should be ruffled!
You’re getting brave with it now, that looked like a guttery hole you were in !A few different jobs for Ducky today. First I forgot to take a photo but was rock up and widen an approach for lorries to get in for next week's job- love turning up and getting straight into it with out the trailer etc.
2nd job was to prep fence line for fencers- remove and roll up old netting, and level it off old spoil heaps so they could get there tracked machine to the fenceline- retrieved some nice bits of firewood from over the wall too!
