Oh how I'd like to turn back the clockWhoever that’s going to is a better man than me ! I don’t know how he managed to persuade you to part with it but I know I couldn’t !!
Barnesy??? he'll always buy back if it's not been abusedOh how I'd like to turn back the clocksold it back to the dealer up Druids way.
Yeah good outfit to deal with I have found. Both buying and selling. Could I have made more selling privately, yes but sure was a lot less hassle selling back to them- he's going to put it to work on a bit of ground they've just bought I thinkBarnesy??? he'll always buy back if it's not been abused
You won't fault JB and his son Johnny - honest and straight as the day is long - but - JB will NOT suffer fools/DO NOT p*ss him offYeah good outfit to deal with I have found. Both buying and selling. Yeah it was his son I dealt with who was also straight. Actually he did me a big favour yesterday. We'd agreed to sell the case with 4 buckets but I rang to see if I could knock money off if I kept the nearly new trenching bucket to go with the duck instead. Said don't worry about it keep the bucket if it helpsYou won't fault JB and his son Johnny - honest and straight as the day is long - but - JB will NOT suffer fools/DO NOT p*ss him off
have known him for pushing 40+ years and has always been 'a proper' bloke to deal with - in either direction - was always a pleasure to see John walk in the workshop(sold him a lot of gear, when I cleared the yard, including my big Hatz powered Elin welding genny [which is always available, should I have need]
)
Sounds about right .. they'll have a small mountain of buckets sat - 'least they always used to haveYeah it was his son I dealt with who was also straight. Actually he did me a big favour yesterday. You can give it back to him when you progress to the tiltrotatorYeah it was his son I dealt with who was also straight. Actually he did me a big favour yesterday. It's all setup for one. Surprising that a 2003 machine has grab and rotate. I'm guessing most ducks probably doYou can give it back to him when you progress to the tiltrotator
So you’ve already looked into it ! What size pins is the duck on ?It's all setup for one. Surprising that a 2003 machine has grab and rotate. I'm guessing most ducks probably do![]()
This is the beginning of a whole new thread !So you’ve already looked into it ! What size pins is the duck on ?
Not looked into it but just assume that as it's piped for grab and rotate with prop rollers on both thumbs it would take a tilty easy enough. It would have to be an opportunist purchase where one comes up cheap on 50 mm pins what are the chances eh? Trouble with my work is I use a thumb ALOT, like all the time so to do away with that aspect that would be a bit like robbing Peter to pay Paul.So you’ve already looked into it ! I think that's what the gripper is for old chap.... Just ask @FurnissNot looked into it but just assume that as it's piped for grab and rotate with prop rollers on both thumbs it would take a tilty easy enough. They do come up now and then on 50s !Not looked into it but just assume that as it's piped for grab and rotate with prop rollers on both thumbs it would take a tilty easy enough. A gripper wouldn't pick this up though!I think that's what the gripper is for old chap.... Just ask @Furniss
With a selector grab you could pick them up two at a time![]()
Yeah as brilliant as a gripper is they aren't designed for this, so unless your going ecoil so you can swop between bucket / selector grab quickly then a thumb suits that walling work v well, I suppose a selector grab is better at actually placing those rocks but it looks like you manage fine with your thumbA gripper wouldn't pick this up though!
