Films or tipple?
Been on the bulmers after discovering the previous occupants bodged soakaway/hex.🤬🤬

Films.. Great Escape, Bridge to Far, Dambusters, B of B. 👌Them were when men were men or lads became men very quickly.
Some of the newer ones are good. Private Ryan and petal harbour etc.
Inglorious Basterds is another classic.😎

Quite enjoy a Netflix series here and there

Theres some brilliant documentary series on Netflix, highly recommend The Staircase, Flint Town, Ted Bundy Tapes, anything by Louis Theroux, and Chasing Coral. Randomly found myself watching Fearless about Professional Bullriding in the USA, was a really enjoyable watch! When Netflix get it right they are brilliant but there is some utter rubbish on there as well 🤣

Highwaymen is a film by Netflix about Bonnie and Clyde, recommend that one too

Band of brothers honestly one of best series I've seen. Now TV.

Used to like a bridge to far and another good one used to watch with step dad but forget the name.

The thing that annoys me with those programmes is the fake drama before ad breaks. Omg omg turn the pump off a hose has split/rock stuck/track broken. How are we going to carry on with the 450 excavator broken when we only have 350s elsewhere on the job 🙄

love all sorts really .... sci fi particularly ... Passengers being a particular fave ... but there are so many great films to watch ... plus all the spaghetti westerns ... as for drink - I don't ... got out of the habit 40 years ago, when I had to be able to turn out all hours for plod and later, my alarms ... TBH have never missed it and do VERY occasionally have a half a glass of rjoca or a vodka and lime .... but not that I can recall in the last ten years or so :giggle: ... do not wanna piss off me pancreas

Youngest lad has been doing ww2 home front etc at school...or home rather...🙄 So we dug an Anderson shelter bunker affair!😎
Watched a few of the classics with the kids. Think it's vital they learn the history properly.
