Is the 210 direct mount or hitch?
Not to piss on his chips but that looks more hassle than it's worth. He's hardly got the bucket a foot off the ground yet already at full boom height. You can barely load a track barrow with a normal quick hitch on a micro, so to load it with that he'd have to twist and tilt. Guessing it'll be a button divertor and aux on a foot pedal (?) so thats a lot of contortion, physical effort and concentration just to tip the bucket into the dumper. Then the same again to return to dig. Couple that with the much reduced breakout and I think I'd sooner get off and shovel.

Doobin, as someone who was as sceptical as you a few years ago and am now totally converted, all I can say is go and try one out on a similar sized machine to what you're thinking. The dig days the manufacturers are putting on these days are totally relaxed, no sales pressure, try one or two machines out, talk to owners - or do what myself and Shovelhands did and spend 90% of the day chatting and drinking tea:coffee:
Until you try one out, go home, and spend some time thinking about how it might work in your business, I wouldn't be so keen to judge what other people have done with their own firms. Getting a tiltrotator has completely changed my business and I wish I'd of had the confidence to do it sooner. They don't work for everyone but from the kind of work you have posted on here, it certainly has the potential to make you some cash too. I had plenty of buckets and attachments - some of which I sold (and helped offset the price) and others I have yet to convert to S type but I really would recommenced the "S" system and proper tilty buckets. They are made lighter and of better quality material than standard buckets and they really compliment the tiltrotator and the new ways you'll find yourself working with it.
I'm in Horsham for the next 4 weeks. That's not too far from you I believe. Feel free to come give it a go - but remember I do have a JCB so be nice;)

(P.S. This is not a sponsor post and the very nice jacket Engcon sent me has absolutely nothing to do with me saying tiltrotators changed my life. Honest:LOL:)

I’m not sceptical mate, I’m just too far down one path (non s system, three diggers) to add a tilty unless I can keep the same top hitches. Plus already have power tilt, and 50% minimum of my work is land clearance with a grab, digging holes is an afterthought!

PM me your number anyway 😉

Changed BP's business too. They are launching a new hydraulic oil drilling division I hear :ROFLMAO:

Have it all sketched up, but still need a ram to finalise dimensions .... reluctant to 'rob' the S50 I have of its ram though and ain't come across anything suitable as yet :( ..... out of interest Robert ( @Engcon UK ) ... what'd a new ram cost me from you guys roughly  - S45 or 50 .. nigh on the same
Top or bottom hitch Graham? (The S45 and S50 share components, but the lock cylinder for the top hitch is a different part to the bottom hitch)

Top hitch I have in stock here at Tewkesbury - £230 + VAT. Forum discount 5%. Bottom hitch I can rob from Finland or France - they're £200 list

Lock wedge is £93 list, Graham.

Tilty looks genuine. Machine and aggregate cables, joysticks and controller, feeder valve etc(y). Can't vouch for the seller though :cautious:

The last one was in April and there are a few videos floating around - here's the 'official' one

Next one in Somerset (as requested on the twitter post(y)) middle of next month. Digger line-up is coming together nicely - as always we'll try and have as many colours and sizes of diggers there with a good range of control systems and we are also going to partner and showcase GPS systems alongside our tilties as it's a topic that we are increasingly getting asked about. Hopefully it will make the whole day even more attractive - as Ollie @Gunners said earlier - a great opportunity to meet up with other operators and chew the fat. Our Engineers will also be on hand to answer questions about servicing and so on.

Just register please - so we don't run out of buffalo burgers:eek:. Easy to do - here

I'll even serve it to you myself Aiden - with some Rototilt-coloured tomato ketchup instead of Engcon-coloured mustard, but you'll never escape :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

this looks an interesting development Robert (y)(y)
"Doosan agrees Engcon deal to make machines tiltrotator-ready"

https://www.theconstructionindex.co...engcon-deal-to-makemachines-tiltrotator-ready
Thanks for bumping this one Graham. The important point is that the manufacturers are seeing the growth in tilties and reacting to it. To fit a fully proportional system (DC2 for Engcon, ICS for Rototilt) takes around 2 days. Doing this with Kobelco, Hyundai, Doosan and others means that the installation time drops to a couple of hours. I should add that we're making all of these factory fit setups generic, so that the choice of colour - yellow, red, whatever - is down to the customer.
BTW if you want a tilty in pink, we can do it🤣🤣🤣🤣
