Never owned one came close to buying one then changed my mind, I preferred the series 4 Peter Stevens redisigned version over the Angular S3 but the Turbo versions are great cars, The S3 was a Lotus Parts bin car the rear lights were from a rover SD1 and the door handles where Morris Marina! Still a great car though Colin Chapman was a Genius.

I hear what your saying about the parts bin lights and switchgear but I think the angular shape has held up really well tbh.

Yes the shape has always looked great, My favourite it the dark blue metalic Essex liveried coloured car with red leather or the JPS cars If you can find one nowadays they are silly money. Its a shame that they never had the V8 engine that they put into the later series 4 cars. Lotus cars have incredible road holding their racing heritage runs right through them.

This was the blue - cream interior - low miles - totally original.
Prefer my bikes but it was a lovely example.

Just chatting to my insurance guy today.
Just had his mate on to him moaning about his 90 odd K Porsche taycan. Had hassles with it tried to get finance to take back and swap said no chance it's now only worth 36k ...less than 18 months later ....lol

One question - why does a "free energy" car need a start battery?

There are an amazing spectrum of energy waves around us. I would not be surprised if something like this could be invented. Just not sure this bloke has cracked it enough to build a car!!
