I Built this for a handicap Guy, he is paralyzed from below the arm's with reduced dexterity in his hands, left hand in the fork on the steering wheel and right hand on the accelerator and brake lever, we made it to number 5 of 10 drivers in the Norwegian car trial Cup in modified Clas
Volvo 230E engine with volvo 3 speed automatic gearbox and original susuki transfer Box, Hilux axels with Air looks
Replaced the front leaf springs with the half leaf spring package from an American van the original Suzuki springs could not withstand the weight of the volvo engine.
And Yes it's me in the White t-shirt on a demo Day to promote the Sport

My old sj, next to a friends 90. Only mods were the tyres and solid mounted transfer box. Used to have free-run of an old quarry locally, was eventually filled in when locals complained.

came back to the car this morning in the Heath's multi storey to find this getting ticketed ... had just stuffed it in and legged it .....
doubt you'd get very far into a grassy field on them boots .... not seen an LWB before

Our old series 3 88’’ was a pain for tearing its mudflaps off in reverse…came back to the car this morning in the Heath's multi storey to find this getting ticketed ... had just stuffed it in and legged it .....
doubt you'd get very far into a grassy field on them boots .... not seen an LWB before
back them mudflaps over a good kerb and they'd be gone

once watched some lazy twunt of an artic driver, outside my workshop, in the bus station adjacent to it, bludgeon his way over all the kerbs etc., out there, then proceed to try to reverse back over them all into a parking spot ... nice truck and he really did not deserve to be at the helm of a pedal car
... tore the rear trailer flaps and wings off the trailer, putting the support tubes through two tyres, continued on, running them over with the other two axles, simultaneously tearing off the unit's flaps and real fancy twin/double wings on a kerb before stuffing a support tube into his ali fuel tank as he ran them over too ...... utter ****in' carnage ...... went out and locked me gates, 'fore the twat came looking for 'assistance'thousands of quidsworth of damage to a lovely rig and blocked the access road into my place, luckily at 6 in the evening ..... diesel everywhere ..... all watched by an audience of maybe a dozen truckers, already parked up .... wished i'd had vid cameras ... was gone in the morning, when I came in at seven

There seems to be plenty of people that are still well into landrovers I never had any one newer than a 1967 series 2a don't really get the people that buy modern ones then dress them up with extra bits n bobs then never use them for off road or towing just as a fashion statement. Considering it was originally built in 1948 just as a stop gap to get the Rover factory working again but there was a shortage of stuff needed to make cars, it has been a runaway success. No way is it the best 4x4 by far.have had loads over the years .... and wish I'd kept 'em all ATM

have had 'em all from S1 right through to 90,s/110,s/130,s and they're all a love / hate relationship ... ran a S3 and trailer for years, as a 'work vehicle' when I started and that old girl carried some stuff.
