Had this on demo for afew days.. P300e
Sooooo tiny compared to my disco! I’d say it’s only 10% bigger than our old fiesta! Weird driving around without a engine but a perfect town / shopping car for the Mrs if your that way inclined to burn 50k for her to buy more crap with 😂

Now not your average electric vehicle but apparently I'm going to drive 1 on Monday in a foreign country i can't say how or where but they run on rails and carry a lot of people through the city.
What could possibly go wrong!

I used to work on the railways when it was BR trained as a drivers assistant so got to drive lots of the old slam door electric Multiple Units 4Vep, 4Cep, 4 Cig and EPB stock you could really hustle a 12 car set along even back then they were pretty responsive to drive. I hear that the Brighton Belle is being restored to run on the mainline again, There is some famous footage called London to Brighton in Two minutes which was the Brighton Belle, I am pretty sure its on Youtube its worth a look, Enjoy your drive you will love it!

Unfortunately due to german hospitality on the Sunday night along with 1 of the partners unable to make it, it was cancelled 😞
But did enjoy helping train some of the drivers on the Friday 🙂

I have just looked it up London to Brighton in 4 mins on youtube there are several versions but the early black and white one with shots of the motorman at the controls is a good one, Its been a few years for me but I am glad to say I still had all of the landmarks and junction names and the stations names Once you have learnt it you never forget it! I wish the clock could be turned back sometimes!
