Was a right damp squib. I don't think the timing helped. Was evening anyway. Stayed pretty light here. I was looking up as neighbour said not another in UK till 2080. They have a total one in Spain next year August 2nd. Also they have a total one in 2037 where my mam lives in oz. Might work out well for a holiday. Anyway that daft twat was trying to explain his blue peter cereal box invention to me looked a load of shite.

If you’d stayed up sky watching after midnight there were some impressive meteorites lighting the sky up. Thought it was a Hindu wedding for a start. Apparently tonight between midnight and early hours will be the peak. Think it’s the Perseids or Haemarroides or something similar.
