They are releasing a tb320 which i believe has rollers on the joystick instead of foot pedal no idea if it comes as standard though

They will do the TB219 and 216 with aux on prop rollers but it's an extra and in the case of the 219 it's only the second aux on a roller the first is still on a pedal. If they made a TB219 with track pedals and auxs on roller id have one no hesitation based on the reliability I've had from all my Taks

Just looked. To me it just looks like a 216. Probably a cost saving thing as apart from slightly bigger counterweight there isn't much there different. It's actually slightly less reach than a 216. And still no track pedals! I can't understand how bloody hard it is to stick a set of pedals on. There's plenty of space and would cost them barely anything.

16hp and 40l/min hydraulic flow is pretty impressive for a 2t machine.

Not that special is it. The Wacker 1.8t is 18.5hp and 41 L/minutes. Think the Yanmar is similar too.
The Wacker model is a good 10 years old now too. It just annoys me that takeuchi want top money but they're so basic still in the mini category.

Yeah for sure. But TBF it's the only brand sub 3 ton that I've owned so not much to compare them to in terms of reliability. Imagine Yanmar and Wacker would be good to in that regard. Certainly get a lot more machine for your money.

Dare say it's like cars nowadays, just buy what you like the most. They all have their faults and foibles regardless of manufacturer.

Hopefully it's on its first outing on Thursday, if its not out on hire to my mate
Picked up 3 buckets locally to me for 300 quid, 2 Stricklands and 1 Martin Attachments, which is what the hitch and existing buckets are. I'm planning to get set up with s30 but it's ready to use with a decent set of buckets for now.
Flashing lights both work, might tap into the green one for extra lights though, I'll never need a green beacon!
Think I'll get a sticker of some kind on the bonnet.

First outing for the Takeuchi today, supposedly easy strip off a 6 wheeler grab lorry worth of soil, and lay a bit of type 1. What I'd been told were a couple of shrub stumps were actually bloody big stumps once I'd stripped off the topsoil.
The 217r was perfect for the job, loads of grunt, good reach, no tail so I could get in-between the stumps and the fences for best angle of attack.
Nearly took the micro, bloody glad I didn't but I definitely missed the ripper tooth!
School caretaker was amazed by the whole process and well happy to gain a bit of space. Nice profitable job too
