no they dont have to supply only 1. The standard charge is £140 quid for a phone line. Dont mention internet until the phone line is installed as that is covered by separate law and they can charge you mega bucks for it.

Sorry Fred, the devil is in the detail!!! The wording is “ If you only have a calling plan with BT, the standard connection charge is normally £140.”

The normally bit is the painful part if there is in sufficient cable to provide the service.

Figuring out where to slot it in one of your boxes!

already had that sorted Alex .... and cleared some time ago, for one that didn't happen :( ..... today however :giggle: john arrived at half one .... a good twenty years younger than i was expecting !! early/ Mid 30s and a real nice bloke with it ... liked him a lot and will keep an eye on his items for sale.
ran it up on the truck, 'fore I lifted it off and runs sweet enough :) and went through the gear box / feeds .. also discovered that although it's primarily an imperial machine ... it'll also do metric threads and has a back gear changeover to accomplish that  which was a bonus
'Fraid there ain't that many pix guys .... been a busy afternoon ......
