any particular reason you want a 4t @V8Druid ? I was after a Linde 2t for a while to supplement my 1999 Jungheinrich/Boss 2.5. Linde better off road apparantly due to drive system? I had had the tyres retreaded and axle component replaced on the Jungheinrich.and after that it kept getting stuck in the wet stuff. I assumed it was due to the treads digging in faster. Bought the Moffett in the end and its been bloody brilliant once you get used to its idiosyncrasies . A year later we had the service and LOLER on the counterbalance, and it became apparant that the previous guy had fitted the parts wrong and limited the axle articulation which was causing all my traction problems. Never got it stuck since! 8000 odd hours and 25 years old and worth every penny I have spent on it. Might treat it to a strip down and respray one day. Has a 3l engine on it so has a bit of drink problem though!

got some lumpy stuff about and no plans on taking it off the hard/onto anything soft ... know from experience with my 4t Hyster it is a serious no no, on anything remotely soft .. 4s tend to get about better than smaller / sub 3tonners
's like the big lathe I bought ... can do small jobs on a big un but not vice versa .. and I have a specific job in mind for a good size truck

Sorry to hear about your ginger twat-cat. Our black twat-cat is getting on a bit, didn't want to come in last night as I had the tumble dryer running! Found her outside this morning looking grumpy as I left, so filled her a dish of food and left it out with her eating it as I departed!

Helen's just had the results back on the adrenal gland mass - looks like a secondary from the lung cancer which isn't great. Shall see what the lung team say about the other cysts she has and any next steps! She's still in Southmead (had the op Monday morning) and may have a chest infection.

When are you gonna build yourself a proper shed then?

as said elsewhere ... short day out with Russ this morning ... took Clara to school then headed for Russ's house
Wyre Piddle site again, chuck up a couple of bits of steel and shift a few bits about - tiny site and stuffed for space ...
set up on the road again, half rigged - will do a tonne, full stick, flat out over the side half rigged -- 's an amazing machine

lower roof beam first ..

with the second on a leg off the first at 90 deg.s .... took a couple of podgies with me this time .. makes landing 'em a POP

shifted a pallet of plasterboard and a midi skip and wrapped up ready to roll by eleven
cuppa at Russ's and back in time to collect Clara from school.

Russ's eldest daughter, 'sposed to be moving house today ... bent over yesterday to pick up the hoover and back went - big time - ambulance job to local hospital in Hereford, sent her up to QE hospital in Brum, by ambulance, on the op. table this morning , just after we left site ...
something collapsed in her spine
awake and groggy at six this evening, very sore, but has full feeling in her legs ... yer never know WTF is 'round the corner ....
