nice to see some decent weather at last ... but ............. the ****ing hornets love this warm weather ... especially of an evening .... manically attracted to flood lights .... killed 17 last night ... and probably a good 30 the previous evening ... the 'zapper' racquet knocks em down, sweet as and tread on the b'stards ... or if they get their legs tangled in the mesh, it fries 'em .... well makes 'em smoke a bit anyway

squeak came up to me this morning looking a bit dishevelled ..... dunno WTF he'd been, but didn't look happy .. covered in cobwebs, been sticking his nose in somewhere

as said elsewhere earlier, been into Aber this afters for a few bits ... some new number plates for the trailers and a new bottom for Ollies Ifor ..... rang the merchants this morning .... non slip phenolic 124 quid .. no stock local but could get one from another depot for later in the week
enquired about their H/wood double faced ply, last one I had from Pontrilas a while ago was over 60 quid plus the Vodka .... pleasantly shocked with £28 and coppers, plus the dreaded ... and in stock ... suitably treated it'll do me .. can have 4 for the price of one phenolic
three number plates cost me more than the ply and hell did the paper coating on 'em take some getting off ... all ali now - don't do placcy ones any more

one to use now and a spare (at that price - had to have it ) .. handy to have sat about
Mower/strimmer/blower/etc. juice cost me 64 bloody quid ... 38.6L of E5 ... do not trust putting E10 in it all ...... and the damned grass needs doing again

gave this a thick coat of of Ali on the face side 'fore tea and flipped for a good coat of Bit. after tea .... The ali dries real quick - the Bit.'ll be dry in the morning for another thick coat while Harper has her morning nap

and'll get another on it after tea tomorrow night with any luck .. can't beat the old bituminous for a good water proof coating ... once it's had sufficient coats, we'll see how 'easy' it is to sliiiiiide a new sheet into an Ifor -- POP according to Mr Gunners .. we shall see ..... old one'll be easy enough to remove in bits

You're right to keep using E5 fuel - pretty sure that Honda recommend not to use E10 in their older engines as it can knacker the pipes.

yeh ... I'm sure as hell not gonna take the chance ... too much hassle having all the garden gear go down for the sake of the extra cost of E5

Agreed with E5 but I had 20L other week from local garage that smelt weird...really strong sweet smell. Ran alright and already used it but deffo had something different about it .

Anything 2 stroke I use aspen never go back to pump fuel now...can't believe how well stuff runs that's sat for ages and no headache even after a full afternoon milling.
Yes it's a ripoff tho

little un asleep .... got an hour for the second coats

ali dries real quick, so can flip it in twenty minutes, for the other side

this'll need a couple of hours, so might get a third coat after tea
then wash the cars off ... light shower about five and everything is covered in brown splodges ... looks like someone has poured coffee over everything ... couldn't see out the screen this morning to take Clara to school
not a lot of sun today, but still 27C !!!

Much like the food we buy in supermarkets and the water we drink, i don’t think we really have a clue what we’re paying for, does any of this fuel get tested by a independent body?
I put Stihl HP ultra two stroke oil in all petrol as it has a stabiliser in it, doesn’t seem to do the four stroke stuff any harm and don’t have to worry about separate cans. Bit expensive but don’t get any problems, been doing it for a few years.

only use e5 ,never had aproblem with dead fuel in kit that doesnt get used too often ,shed where the kit is kept is insulated so doesnt get too hot or cold ,dont know if that makes a difference to the fuel ?

found this in the letter box yesterday afternoon ..... coming to a town near you ... you just watch

printed in Welsh on the other side ...... so all the lit dual carriage ways are gonna be chaos, with the plebs convinced it'll be 20MPH .... A465 Heads of the Valley road'll be interesting .... 's lit for a good 30+ miles

I think in the future we will see more synthetic fuels, such as Aspen, and GTL/HVO diesel, a lot of development going on, think i saw F1 will be using it soon. It may be expensive now but if produced on a larger scale could be a alternative to Electric and keep ICE going until Hydrogen is viable, anything that keep the internal combustion engine going can't be all bad.

coat number four whilst harper napped this morning .... not long gone, so gonna pop and see how dry it is, then maybe a final 5th one after tea

was going to install it in the morning, but off out to meet Russ, to view the 2.2 'Tachi and hopefully stick it on his trailer -- I know the area where it is - used to live that way - may even know the seller ...
tomorrow afternoon hopefully then if it's the POP I'm told it is
