has 2.2 k on the clock, reg. 30-09-'22, petrol, 1.6 148(hp) 3 T-GDI (turbo-direct injection!) 2WD ..
gave up on finding a 4WD.. hen's teeth ...

they have an identical one with under 1k on the clock, but a grand more ... both ex-demo/showroom motors
1600 kg tow cap. ... but no 'kin tow bar -- tow pack is 500 bloody quid .... I haven't finished kicking 'em to death on that one yet though
substantially more than I was planning on spending, but having driven a couple of the previous models (which were quite nice), this is chalk and cheese ...
we are still 'negotiating' on how big a pile of beer vouchers are required, but it's coming down slowly
does anyone have any constructive (or otherwise) comments for me please - good, bad or indifferent ... all will be taken on board

My thoughts....I'd have thought a 4x4 might have been handy in winter for you but apart from that I'm sure you can get aftermarket towbar for less...It Might not be the way to gauge a motor, but my thoughts have always been if there are plenty of them on the road they can't be that bad!

exactly, but they're like hen's teeth fashioned from unicorn horn ... they rang me Sunday and said they'd had a GTline AWD on a 21 plate come in if I'd like to have a shufty and try it out ... went bloody well, but'd virtually made up my mind, to up the budget, have a look at the newer model and then decide.
As said above ... the previous model, which has had a very successful 7 year run and is a decent motor, pales in comparison to the newer release. Had to peel Pam out of it
as for tow bars ... I've made hundreds over the years, but AFAIK they now have to be CE-ed ... will have to do some research

That is the newer model that has a PPf filter. Supposedly less problems than a dpf due to petrols running hotter in the first place but I have seen a few problems crop up on the FB pages with them.
Is it auto or manual. Ours is the older shape but manual. Would defo want an auto next. It has no low down umph and I feel unkind to the clutch giving it so much revs having come from diesels.

Manual Smiffy ... is yours the 130hp model ... drove one last week and as said, got to give it some, off the mark, but went ok, once wound up a bit .. the 175hp GTline goes VERY well, as does this with 148 donkeys. From what I read on their spec. pages all the autos are hybrids .. don't think you can get a straight auto ?

A lot of it is only 36 mth.s, which includes the fancy digi. dash, which does concern me a little ... could get eye wateringly 'spensive - real quick

... don't think the sales guy (who fair play, I like and is 'up for' a craic) has come up against a Druid before ... seems most folks just walk in and shell out the screen price ..and yeh yeh yeh ... 's not the bucks, it's the free time to get on with it .... my life's never my own these days .... got a lot more done for me when I was working and no G/kids
... still trying to get a hold of Vicki's car to give it a service and swap the rear discs out apart from having the time to get it done

Yes ours is only the base model but I feel like all modern engines are the same. Nowhere near the power band of old stuff and then more gears to compensate. I know the 18 plates like mine could be auto with any engine but not all that common on the base models. Haven't looked greatly in-depth at the new ones as ours won't be going until some time next year.

TBH I wasn't overly 'disappointed' by the 130hp one I drove .. was a MY25 spec. .. was a nice place to be in ... impressed with the 360 'aerial' camera view ... salesman can't understand why they didn't continue it and have it as std on this new model ?
I will say that I have bigger starter motors on some of my bikes

My one only has the reverse camera but I find the moving lines that correspond to the steering angle are good as the all round view is crap the same as most modern vehicles. The cruise control is alot more user friendly than a lot of expensive cars. Can drive miles with just your thumb on the toggle switch. They have zero engine breaking and the breaks are very light. My wife loves it. I wouldn't choose it but she wanted a mummy mobile. And as said these are like arsholes so they must be doing something right. Plus the warranty is good and doesn't drop as many things after 3 years as a lot of the other companies. Plus it's fairly easy to keep the warranty going.
The last thing is they use oil. All of them do it. About 1ltr per 5000 miles so you have to actually check it or you will get a phonecall about the watering can on the dash board

rang up insurance today for new van policy. She asked if i had already had a quote before giving me one i said yes. She asked for it i said id rather not say. and all the other can you justs ..... been given this to endeavour to make work properly .... sorted Vicki's own personal one last year and only she uses it ... this is the school's and all and sundry get let loose on it - overlocker .. very clever bit of kit ... but ........... it's the free time to get on with it .... my life's never my own these days .... got a lot more done for me when I was working and no G/kids

only thing I could see that 'might' be at fault was the one needle on this bit seems shorter than it might supposed to be
time to get the operator to tell me ... and give it a test drive .... tried it before and it kept snapping two of the four cottons ... get all sorts here
these arrived yesterday @Vinpetrol , just before I sat down to let Pam stick a canular in me arm ..... good timing or he'd have had to hump 'em off on his own -- or wait two hours
split 'em earlier, for a shufty, with me trusty band cutter .. seem OK .... holes're gonna need a touch with the die grinder, as they have a slight taper
