Had to have a foray into town today - collect a lot more painkillers and other med.s for me and Pam's usuals...
did a small shop in Aldi & Morrisons whilst there -- really fancied a ....... curry for tea :giggle: ...
went down a treat and not had any issues yet  ... kill or cure (y)
was absolutely wrecked by the time we got back and had to have 2hrs kip after tea

just been out and burnt 5 bags of rubbish that'd accumulated - burning bin was stuffed - still shirtsleeves out there - bloody warm ... nice to do something 'normal' :)

not a great few months then Vin ... good to hear you're heading in the right direction though -- you need that O&K to keep you occupied :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Got an appointment for next Friday at 08.30, to see one of the surgeons I saw in Hereford last week, to discuss a way forward, full blood work up again and maybe that MRI 🤞🤞 (or ERCP  ) ....... so that's gonna be a bloody early start!! Can be an hour plus to cross Hereford :(

Hopefully he can get you on the right track though . Be worth the trip if he knows his stuff . I’ve got enough projects just now getting back on top of servicing all my stuff ! Been going so hard on the house the plant got a bit neglected so that’s going to get sorted next . Ive also taken delivery of a couple of hurricane hitches !

I spent my 20th Birthday (June 2000) working on a refrigerated building within the new Hereford hospital . In hindsight was probably the morgue 🫣 maybe just the medicine storage?
Odd that I can remember the trousers I was wearing and the silicone I was using but little else about it the job we did there .

have spent most of the day 'providing transport' (big trailer) for Pam, Vicki and one of her mates, at Vicki's, having a major clear up of her garden - under threat of getting 'em lopped off, if I so much as picked up a broom or anything at all, heavier than a coffee cup.
doesn't come easy watching everyone else moving and shifting stuff into the trailer and simply supervising how to load it/where to put the heavy tish.
Was a major pile of old paving slabs left behind her garage, which all looked fine, 'til you started to remove a couple and found all the bollo-ed ones ... should've (would've) made the outgoing incumbents shift it all, 'fore taking possession, if I'd realised was 90% cr*p
Kia towed it home well :giggle: considering there's probably pushing 2t behind it - - will all make good hardcore on the turning area with a little attention from a lump hammer and a load of gravel spread over it.

Then shot down into Morrisons, get some boxes of nice choccy biccies, sweeety tubs, etc. and a thank you card to drop off in Frome ward, for the staff, on Friday, when we go back to Hereford ..
Could not fault the attention and care I got in there. (y)
Don't often get the opportunity to show appreciation, 'cos it's usually many weeks 'tween getting kicked out and getting back there - they all deserve some recognition for what must be a tough job.

found this on FB the other night .. if I was still working, it'd be sat in my workshop, by now
that is some grands-worth any day of the week - the makings of an awesome press

We got amazon ones for the Kids and they wernt great... didnt last at all.
Repair shop said it was cheaper in the long run to buy genuine Ipads even for the kids as they ladt and take the abuse.

I've got a refurbished iPad from Back Market which is great if your not obsessed with the latest tech, and also got a phone for the old man, good savings to be made.
