Btw if anyone has a decent large plate they want to sell- I may be interested. 300-400kg would probably optimum size for my use. Or a ped roller.....
I’ll be selling my electric start 800kg one in a couple of years once I’ve finished my yard/dads yard. You’ll need to keep your big Case though to pick it up 🤣

How wide is the plate on your one out of interest? I bet It packs it down well!

I only want it to use in one location and a £3000 plate does the same work as a £5000 roller it seems (on 803 at least). Bugger to move around though.
Yeah makes sense. A 1200 roller weighs around 2.8t and has to be taken on a trailer. At least an 800kg plate could be taken on a trailer with a 1.8ton digger ok

Il get it on the trailer one way or another! Trap it between blade and bucket and track it on. It's coming on the damn trailer whether it likes it or not🤣
Let me finish all my jobs first 🤣

I want one of these whackers
They pop up here and there. I bought mine based on @Giles recommendation. They use em on railways all ganged up 3 in a row remote control. Think mine was 2.8K from a stealer. Needed some bits which stealer paid for without undue hassle so no hesitation in recommending them again.

Same as a dumpy bag though and they don't struggle lifting those. I lifted 2 bags of the back of a truck the other day- was the max though.

I think this is why I want either another ped roller (500kg) or a 3-400kg plate as easy to lift around the place. Used to track down awkward footpaths with the ped roller dangling of the 3 tonner, lifting it over cross drains etc

This is the size you want then 400kg

This shot up to about £2k and was a declared fault none starter at that
