the problem with plates is the same as used quads.

They are generally bought and absolutly abused then moved on. Zero servicing, Zero workshop time and just work work work although parked up inbetween. Driven with no mechanical sympathy .

Its why we dont buy used plates, or used quads.

Lol are they disposable now? was looking at a quad in tyre shop on Monday.....they reckon it needed virtually every link arm and bush replacing ...thing had never been touched or washed till it died on a farm

Unless farms run multiple quads they’re needed every day and generally the ones with multiples need a few on the go so they never get down time for servicing etc just get abused then moved on. My stone lads who farm few hundred acres just got a 1000cc canam and are loving it. I’ve a had Polaris for my last few big 350 2 stroke beast when I was a teenager was best lol, now run a 600 sportsman for playing or occasional use on small harrows etc

Gator crowd more the older ones don’t want to sit on quad in the rain etc but not as good on the hills

Huge amount seem to have switched to side by sides up here now.
Guess staying dry and been able to carry a load and not much wider than quad and trailer must be handy .
Rangers on my bucket list.
