No idea, comes from below the filter then goes around and drops in the top of the pumpcould the first one be a crank case breather returning into the filter housing, after the filter ?

I passed a Sunbelt 8 wheeler plant wagon, on the M62 yesterday and it was loaded front to back with WN wacker plates, no idea on the model numbers but all looked Diesel F/R, guess it was on the way to euros?

Dpu2540 I assume? Pull the fuel filler cap all the way out and check fuel filter (it's tied to the other end of the string thats tied to the cap)Anyone any ideas on a starting issue. Started this morning but then cut out.
Little pipe behind the air filter box had come off but still will not start.
Diesel is probably 8 weeks old
No string tried fishing it out without luck.Dpu2540 I assume? Pull the fuel filler cap all the way out and check fuel filter (it's tied to the other end of the string thats tied to the cap)
Dunno, first step is check fuel filter until you've ruled that out pointless looking any further. Should be able to fish filter out easy enough with a bit of strong wire with a bend on end. There's a fair length of fuel pipe lies in the bottom of tank with filter on end.No string tried fishing it out without luck.
Doesn't seem as much compression on the pull cord as before, could it be an air leak?
Tried with a ss wall tie have to try again with less of a hook.Dunno, first step is check fuel filter until you've ruled that out pointless looking any further.
