Looks like it is going to be a long hard winter in Europe. Hopefully we are over the worst bit a fear for freedom of choice. Forced vaccination for any reason is totally wrong. The first standard is informed consent followed by do no harm. If informed consent is not willing given the second does not come into play.
Vaccination by coercion is not informed consent. We are heading into dark times when you look what is being said across Europe by Austria and Germany. The NHS is now coming under pressure as it does every winter. The reality is the lack of primary care at the height of Covid restrictions is know starting to bite on the backside. The wards are filling up with under treated patients that where not seen before. They go into hospital and still catch Covid whilst they are there. We learn nothing. We are still hooked on test and trace and the billions spent on that yet we don’t look at the waste within the NHS. What happened to all the Covid capacity in the Nightingale Hospitals. Could have trained an army of primary healthcare assistants to help with the pressure in NHS amd care facilities but we don’t think. Try to see a doctor. Very little chance. We have turned people into fearing a disease that is still predominantly killing the very old and infirm. If you need to protect yourselve then take responsibility. Don’t expect others to take a jab that is now pretty worthless against whatever strain we are currently fighting. No sign of any news on an up to date dose. Funny, they managed to get the vaccine out in record time, yet don’t seem to be able to amend it!!

Wifey took a look at ICU patients today at work. In one ward there was 16 patients. 6 were there because of covid- 4 had been vaccinated (Inc 1 triple jabbed) and 2 unvaccinated. The overridding theme amongst all 6 was high BMI. And a myriad of other complaibts- dialysis, diabetes, asthma etc. Only one was under 60 and considered healthy although still overweight.
Hardly full of otherwise fit and healthy unvaccinated as various news sources would have you believe.

The local one to here has mostly been dismantled and returned back to a leisure centre, with a vaccine centre.
I am asking rather tongue in cheek. I am pretty sure they where dismantled with virtually no real use when they realised they had no staff to make them effective. No plan to train additional staff. So dismantled them a lot easier than you would think possible after the expense poured into assembly of them.

A mate is an orthopaedic surgeon at a hospital in North Wales - they have done no elective surgery in his hospital since covid began(!), only dealing with emergency ops. Imagine how many people must be waiting for hips and knees, and how many have died waiting?!
The reason they aren’t operating is being blamed on covid but is actually because the hospital is full to capacity, mostly with patients who should be receiving their care at home in the community. This is what he reckons is the biggest issue within the care system in his area - hospital beds are blocked because of a massive lack of staff to deliver what’s necessary at the required ‘point of consumption’.

Personal opinion is that the "f**k those who haven't had a vaccine" attitude being propagated by some is a bit hypocritical.... for years many have cried "f**k the crack addicts and meth heads, boot them out of the system" and been ignored......

R.E the nightingale hospitals, Personal opinion is they could of been functional.... But corruption got involved. Same with Trick and Trace.... Such things should of been literally dumped on the MOD and told to crack on/ask for MOP volunteers...... Can't say there wasn't a stock of people without better things to do?

Very valid point on the bed blocking issue. That will obviously get better now we have mandatory vaccination for care workers!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

had a weekend in tintagel last month, having lunch in one of the local pubs someone brought up covid in conversation. There was an older chap on the table behind us, he commented that he was a consultant in oxford, the majority of those not surviving ICU were un-vaxxed. The vaxxed were mainly walking out after a rough few weeks.

Australian government are sending threatening letters to the 'unvaccinated', meanwhile they are rounding up 'covid suspects' in military vehicles (presumably using military personnel) and taking them to 'quarantine camps'.

Where do you draw the line?
