Well this infringement of our liberties is the only thing I've ever felt passionately about so I'll get out there and do my bit.
I feel strongly about the whole lockdown civil liberties thing. Who would have thought that in this country the police would be issuing "guidance" to people sitting on park benches or sunbathing alone and the selfrightous people informing on neighbours coming round the see grandma because she may well not be there when this is all over? I thought we were a freedom loving nation, but it appears not. A lot of people seem quite happy to go down the totalitarian route. It is one thing to argue we needed all the restrictions (which I personally am not sure we did), but it is another thing to enjoy enforcing them on others.
I've done my best to ignore it and carry on the best I can, but I respect other peoples right to be worried about it and I won't inflict myself on anyone who is worried.
I had thought of how best to protest, but having seen the sort of anarchist behavior by a small minority on these demos I don't want to be associated with that. They don't represent me. I will just keep on passively resisting as much as I feel comfortable doing, but I do feel I should be resisting more.
