You can protest as much as you like it’s going to happen now I’m all for standing up for your believes but quite a few are just there for a riot and fight
I’ve no time for the police whatsoever gang of little hitlers in my opinion half are bent/corrupt the our half bone idle not like 40 year ago🤔
Well this infringement of our liberties is the only thing I've ever felt passionately about so I'll get out there and do my bit.

Like I said each to their own my point is that these protests quickly get taken over by idiots out for a fight as Mog says. Personally I still respect the cops know a few and they thoroughly decent lads but that's only my point of view.

I feel strongly about the whole lockdown civil liberties thing. Who would have thought that in this country the police would be issuing "guidance" to people sitting on park benches or sunbathing alone and the selfrightous people informing on neighbours coming round the see grandma because she may well not be there when this is all over? I thought we were a freedom loving nation, but it appears not. A lot of people seem quite happy to go down the totalitarian route. It is one thing to argue we needed all the restrictions (which I personally am not sure we did), but it is another thing to enjoy enforcing them on others.
I've done my best to ignore it and carry on the best I can, but I respect other peoples right to be worried about it and I won't inflict myself on anyone who is worried.
I had thought of how best to protest, but having seen the sort of anarchist behavior by a small minority on these demos I don't want to be associated with that. They don't represent me. I will just keep on passively resisting as much as I feel comfortable doing, but I do feel I should be resisting more.

All went off peacefully just a meet of people who feel the same about it. Few crackpots there but nothing daft.

No disrespect but that's just kids being kids. No excuses for the litter, although the bins would have probably been overflowing with the amount of people there.
You take away all legitimate venues for kids to socialise then don't be suprised when they turn up in parks. Probably be some 80s underground raves this year.
I was in a west bridgford park last summer with takeaway beers for nearby pubs chatting to people.

The more I look into covid the more it doesn't add up. That or I've been indoctrinated from mixing in these anti lockdown circles. Somebody did an FOI request on Leics hospitals. Remember we are one of the worst hit counties, continuous lock down etc. Deaths mar20 - mar21 of c19 with no other co morbidities ..... 38!!!
Now total deaths where c19 is mentioned and remember it HAS to be mentioned by the doctor if suspected or positive as gov't made it a notifiable disease. 1400 odd. It has only just dawned on me that comorbiditity genuinely means contributed to death. As in if someone has diabetes it won't automatically appear as a comorbiditity. It has to be an actual contributory cause of death. In other words covid is 're branded flu, and is actually "killing" nobody.

Sunday's meet...

I think the biggest threat to are liberties at the moment is free speech you soon will not be able to say anything which the far left dont agree with or they will cancel you and trol you until you say sorry for what you said . These are the mob who are at demos to start riots and then it get blamed onto the the genuine protesters

I think free speech is protection from being thrown in jail by the government for what you say. I don't think it protects you from being trolled or from being fired by a private company...I am wrong often though.

Interesting @Keif i see your point.
We have recently had a case here where a teacher, in a lesson about blasphemy, has showed a cartoon of Mohammed and lost their job. I believe they were suspended and the head teacher has apologised on their behalf. Not sure where this fits with gov't or private company but it demonstrates here how bad it is getting.

I saw that in the news . That’s a case of a teacher trying to teach the next generation about how not to offend people on the basis of their religion and he got sacked . If using the image was inappropriate material to use when discussing blasphemy then he should of been asked to find an alternative method and carry on the good work . He could of even used the situation as an example in his lesson but to want rid of him is madness

Not only was the teacher sacked 2 other teachers in same school was suspended for knowing before lesson he was going to show it seems I can say what I like about jesus but not about other religions .This will lead to a civl war in years to come like in the troubles in another part of uk
