Many parents will be hitting the bottle with the thought of there children becoming feral again if school closures go ahead.
There was some idiot on the radio phone in this morning saying in the interest of equality between rich and poor all schools should close until Feb and give the government time to give everyone new computers at home for a burst of home learning. My daughter has only just caught back up from the last extended ‘home learning’ plans! We have fibre, computer and 2 working parents. Home learning does not work for the majority!!

Is it? More testing gives more results, so we test more and get more results. Problem is for the old and underlying health issues. Start the counting back on the 1st Jan. see what this year brings as it was no worse last year than the last big flu killer year in the last 10 years
