I certainly feel more panic about it than before, last march nobody i knew had covid nor their friends.
Today half the people i spoke with told me about them or a mate with it. Thats two weeks after a Christmas lockdown.
I looked today and have made changes to my business to protect my employees and myself. More social distancing and less office staff.
I hope we remain as busy as we did last year but if there was ever a time for a quiet period it seems this is it. Im ever the cautious man and i have called for nearly a year now about quiet times, prices down, etc. Is this it?

Life carries on for me.
Mother works in a Nursery, so she has to go to work regardless. Father is on for ESB, so he will be going into random fuckers homes when on standby, and if Covid wants me it's going to have to share with asbestosis and silicosis.
I don't think the countrywide approach is necessary or proportionate. IMHO if they had enforced the Tiers and prevented those in say tier 4 from exodusing to our area 4 weeks ago there would not be the issue there is now.

as I have previously said ... the penalties are far too 'fee-like' and insufficiently handed out to stop the irresponsible from doing WTF they like ... MUCH BIGGER penalties are required to stop the transgressors from even considering being such arseholes ........ FFS behave in a manner that is needed to contain this sh*t ... or it is never going to end ...... vaccines might help (and it is a big might) if irresponsible tw*ts stop wandering about needlessly spreading it about (and that only applies to the current "it") .....

The virus mutates at a cost. More transmission and less deaths. It is the way the common corona virus heads. If it kills everyone it will die with at as no hosts. Whatever time lag you put in this. When we don’t see a 70 % increase in deaths they will claim the lockdown worked.

aye .... as a healthy individual it's treatable, but if you're in poor shape, it'll usually finish you off .... have had it twice when younger and pleurisy a couple of times ..... getting soaked on cold days .. and ignoring it, was the cause usually

no more financial support is worrying. What are businesses, many of which spent a small fortune on 'covid measures' meant to do now they have been shutdown by the state ? Setting aside pubs and restaurants which must be 99% fecked what about the rest of small firms from metal bashers to bookshops ? Many have their life savings and pensions put into them and have just had the lot flushed down the toilet with no recompense.
Then to top it off they are told to stay locked in their home some cases on their own to mull this over day in day out like some sick Japanese torture.
Not to mention all the people the NHS have abandoned to slow and painful deaths as they have stopped cancer care, that's if you can even get anywhere near a GP for a referral to a unit that's probably closed down anyway.

At the start we f***ed around and did the biosecurity thing as it was supposedly going to kill us all...... To date the death toll of people I know is at 0.... several have had nasty bouts of it and ended up hospital bound (including 3 under the age of 30 who work as porters/nurses in hospital) but none of us have died.
I might eat my hat and die myself.... but I shan't be annoyed if I do. One of these things. The lunacy of what we are doing is lost on me. I can't understand quite why we are YoYoing the entire country for what is ultimately a London problem... If they had Hemmed the Pricks in at the start of the year then it would'nt of got spread....
