Wearing masks has nothing to do with stopping the virus
It's entirely down to giving people a false sense of security so they go out and spend more money into the economy

So why have surgeons and hospital staff been wearing them since forever? Perhaps they don’t know what they’re talking about. Thiree people I know have definitely had it, one died, one shrugged it off like aheavy cold, and one had bad ongoing issues for a month. There’s a lot of vulnerable people who haven’t had it yet and I’m not going to put them at risk just to play billy big bollocks, which is all this “I’m not wearing a mask” s**t is about.

Did you watch that clip? Honestly a cloth mask cannot stop corona.
Surgeons use mask because they're working over open wounds and they are using them in a clinical environment with everything sterilized.
Its not about billy big bollocks at all. If anything I hope people see me and think why is he not wearing one and look into it. I'm getting my temp taken everyday lately if it's high I'll just stay home. Forget masks.
We're you this concerned about flu before this year? I've had bad colds in previous year and rang up my nan to cancel plans with her. Its just basic common sense.

They don’t just wear them over open wounds or doing surgery. Unlike most flus, you can carry this one without knowing it or showing symptoms, so I have no issue wearing a mask (surgical, not Antifa) in shops or at work. It’s about thinking of everyone, not just relatives and friends. Mind you, That’s a bit of an alien concept nowadays in itself.

Hey , il take my chances and do my best to help, for sure a mask with social distancing has to and I mean has to reduce something..

The uk is far to relaxed about enforcing stuff. Try going to spain

My final word. Sneeze into one, then have a look at what they catch and ask yourself where that would have gone. And it’s a lot more than your hand would catch.

Its a pain, its uncomftable
Across Asia, face masks are worn routinely - partly because the air is filthy and partly for for status (pale skin is highly regarded)

The easy solution is the Ear Protector. Commonly molded plastic or a strip of fabric with a pair of buttons

But your all acting like wearing a mask in shops is going to stop the virus and protect the vulnerable people and that's the problem
It simply isnt. Regardless of how effective they are if this virus is as bad as we are told we are all going to catch it, it's not going to magically disappear overnight.
It's not a nice thought and appt of people want to hide from it but at the end of the day no amount of napkins over our faces is going to stop it
It might delay it make this whole thing even more drawn out but people need to face reality that it's here to stay
To really stop it would require a lockdown on a world wide scale that would be more damaging than the virus. Or we all encase ourselves in nbc suits which isn't going to happen.
That's why masks a re a safety blanket as at best they are delaying the inevitable.

People are scared of the virus, people are scared to wear masks(might not look tough?) but the worst is the dumb azz people who haven't graduated high school but think they know more than doctors and scientists that have been study this stuff their entire careers.

Put 10 doctors and 10 scientists in a room and you well get 47 different options on what is right or real.

Has anyone else actually encountered doctors in real life settings? The one who bought my last place was obviously clever but had next to no common sense. Also from talking to him I can tell he believes what he's told and lacks critical thinking ability. Apparently it's quite common amongst highly educated.

A doctor or epidemiologist is no better than me for assessing my risk to a novel disease. They've never been 3ft in a hole repairing a foul drain which has been leaking for years. They compare every risk back to their suited desk based job. Real life has risks get on with it

This is where politicians should assess the balance from all sides and act.
