Ltd company directors can furlough but would have to stop work. I know idiots who've done it for the 500 quid a month, kept working and left paper trails ie registering boilers for warranties. Some will get pulled for deffo

The thing is when applying for it you're asked has your business been affected by covid 19. Simply answer yes and that's it. Pretty open ended question mind, time will tell but you can be sure tax will go up. I claimed the first time but haven't bothered this time.

I reckon the first claim could be looked at as to cover your tax increase. But i think the second could be the one they look into more. End of the day i was affected first time but not this time.

Latest round need to show they have been negitively affected in some way.

I expect our books to show a slightly better year than last . . That said we are having supplier issues and Monday I spent 3 hours and £50 worth of fuel doing a round trip to collect bits for a job scheduled for delivery the previous week.... Said supplier has emailed me a explanation why so if it does get questioned u can explain...

If New York Times is correct with the reason the vaccine study has stopped then there is very little chance of it restarting.

Not one to believe in coincidence but perhaps there is more to the new restrictions than we are told!!

Very true.....wife works in medical research and has been following this with much interest. What she does understand is the process that these trials go through and as soon as the news broke this morning that the trial was stopped “for an adverse event” she understands what that means in this stage of the game.

Got asked to wear a mask in merchants last week. I normally cry exempt in other shops but I put one on out of respect. Bloke couldn't help but have the last word so I told him straight that he was overweight and should take care of himself not worry about me. About time people were made responsible for looking after their own health with regards to lifestyle. Suppose that's the problem with having a NHS people take the piss and expect the state to wipe their arse.

Chance of this being unrelated is probably very slim beating how many people have been involved in the study.

Reading Mayo Clinic, the causes are wide and varied.
It'll never be proven (or disproved) that the vaccine trial triggered a single case.

The article above does not say how many or the planed 30 000 participants have received the vaccine.
It also has not yet been disclosed if the test subject got "the real thing, or the placebo.

Given the long list of conditions that can trigger it, it'd be surprising that 1 in 30000 random people didn't develop some nasty condition completely unrelated to being part of the program.

Problem is that this is an immune response condition. And Covid is an immune response condition that they are trying to resolve. If this triggers an auto immune overreaction then there will be a host of other nasties that will added to the list of potential side effects. It still strikes me that the news on the new restrictions and the failure of this vaccine are related. Especially as we are now going to moon shot for testing......the previous solution was a vaccine!!!

It's not as if testing actually even fixes owt. It does help to seperate infectious from clean people but fack me 100bn on testing for a disease which kills less than flu. When are these idiots going to hold their hands up and say - we got it wrong, should have followed Swedens, and our initial, strategy. We should have spent a lot more on protecting care homes and providing facilities for carers to 'live in' etc etc
