do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
complete f****ng shambles ,people round here been waitng longer than 2 year for a decision
two years to go to catch mine then .... they've always been a fiasco and at one time were officially recognised as the worst planning authority in the UK ... probably still true ... only reason they 'caved' on mine was the judicial review & public inquiry set for 7th july '13 .. they knew full well their position was indefensible and they were looking at meeting our costs of in excess of £90K  ... granted on condition that it was dropped 🤬
🤬
as said .. could write a book on their lack of performance and the money they cost me.

I'm not surprised, I think every government run organisation is the same way.
And all up in arms that Boris says they need a clear out. FFS anyone in the real world knows they milk it. Plannings the worst. Still claiming covid delays and staff working from home etc ...utter.
Was a bloke here used to ride to sites on a bike...so he couldn't see as many in a day as it took longer etc etc. Complete twat. Was one of those..."in my opinion it would look better if you only did one dormer etc etc" show me the policy u nob.

oh yeh ... policies another gem .... I even beat the EA on their flood plain maps ... proved their contour mapping was grossly inaccurate and that their TAN 15 maps were all cloud nine and bore no resemblance to the topography of the whole town ... a complete **** up

Maybe it only takes 2 years if you don't give them an envelope stuffed with cash??
My neighbour Said he had issues with barn conversion years ago...in the end he took a certain bloke out for a fancy meal and drinks...sailed straight through

I've heard it said that our local authority has interviewed and offered jobs conditionally in woefully understaffed roles but the candidates are not likely to be able to take up their new posts for a couple of months because................................... Personnel are so short staffed that they haven't got time to process the applications 🤪

What now!£2 billion contract ffs

I’m only surprised it’s advertised , a 2 bil contract will have already been allocated to a well deserving company .
Probably the guy that got the money for the ships we paid for in case we needed them after Brexit . He’s not too busy , he might not actually have any factories for making the test kits but not having any ships didn’t hold him back last time .
