The thing with schools sending kids home at the drop of a hat peeās me off. My lad has just done his GCSE assessments. 150 in his year, 118 isolating. Then he had to isolate because he āmightā have been in contact with a positive case, the week he had four assessments. Thatās not the government, itās the bloody teacherās union causing chaos in the schools.
110% same with sports days....parents watching from outside the fence coz down to schools decision...pathetic.
don't get me started on ppl not reading yer notes ... 'swhat put me in A&E and then on a ward for a week, last january with acute pancreatitis after what should have been a routine scan ... tw**t set me back a couple of years, for a few months ....Donāt get me started on GPās, the Lord Lucans of the NHS. 12 years ago I had gout. Saw a GP, diagnosed immediately and on the meds, and a couple of weeks later it had cleared up.
Had another attack this year, after countless minutes in the phone queue, a nurse practitioner who sent me for the wrong blood tests, another who hadnāt read my notes before calling me back with my blood test results and just wanted to blame everything on my lifestyle, I managed to speak to a GP after nearly six weeks. The only plus was that by the time I was diagnosed I was sixty and eligible for free prescriptions, which theyāre now talking about scrapping.
