aside from 'Duckgirl' - Amie Pooley and Camilla Kuivalainen I can't think of any female op.s aside from @6feetdown's
There's Amy Underwood who's hammering social media and lady Lana on linkedin but not many others and can understand why tbf. Some of the tales I hear ...I'm up for a laugh but the downright hypocrisy of the big players is an utter joke

The sad thing is she’s so popular because of all the male ops drooling over her wishing they were as good on a digger as her! (I can’t understand Scottish so don’t bother watching) my Mrs is spot on with the dumper and not too bad on machines, I’m just a lot faster and everything we work on is tight up to something expensive so I naturally end up on the digger. Some big muck shifts to do this year so she can get some more seat time then 😎

Problem is most of these firms see it as PC bs with no real interest in promoting a career

But because we work for ourselves we are reluctant or don't give them the seat time they deserve because of time and financial pressure

TBF I can understand why they don't want to work on sites. There are a few female trades on tiktok and the comments make it more than obvious why most women wouldn't want to work on sites.
They seem to have quite a few female ops in Oz and new Zealand, but then the kiwi women I worked with would make most men blush.

It is a funny one, few women in building and machine work on social media etc of average ability and average physical appearance yet they get big following then decide only fans is easier and wonder why they get treated like a thing not a person of credibility

Amy is not one give you that but content has been changing to more gym work outs etc and she getting in good shape and showing it off in tighter clothes. She seems of average ability on machine and loves to chain over the tracks lol but can see why she’d milk it for all it’s worth with kids etc to pay for and only being a worker for her dads firm.

Wonder how many more followers @Gunners would get if he went down the tight leggings route….? Probably far too many 😂

Back on topic, I've got the use of a mag drill. Can you get a broach that will drill holes and counter sink

mag drills aren't the best on durbar Dylan, (which is what I assume you are talking about - chequer plate (diamond pattern) is much harder to find these days and generally in thicker plates), ... how thick is it on the flat? ... might be just as easy, as has been said, to just drill the hole and countersink by hand with each bit in a different drill -- depending on the plate thickness of course

steel durbar and ali 5 bar tread plate.. can' even find a pic of the diamond pattern steel tread plate
not a lot of good with the plate flat on concrete

You simply don't need that. Straight through with a 6mm drill bit in a battery drill, then countersink. How large are these plates and how thick?

And if they're alloy (as floor plates often are) then a mag dril won't help at all!

Countersink first then drill the centre of the countersink stops the rippled edge you can get with countersink holes

issue with that is the countersink is designed to be used in a pre-drilled pilot hole .. would be bloody hard work in steel -- alright in wood
