I'm in the latter category.

I've an nvq in been a diggersist, did it help me operate a digger safely, no. Did it help me identify which fire extinguisher I should use on an electrical fire, Yes. Then team it with the same s**t questions on the h,s and e test. It's all money grabbing shite.

I think the funniest part is about all passing with flying colours. Asif anyone ever fails it.
The blokes who did my npors said he couldn't afford to fail anyone as if you get a reputation for not passing every candidate then no one will use you.
I find this even funnier when the chancers harp on about having a better ticket than the next blokes as if they went through a rigorous exam.

Hang on a minute, let me think about this! So high command luftwaffe must have made sure before sending over millions of tonnes of bombs, that all the people on British soil had CSCS and PPE to be able to accept the bombs, and be competent in handling them! No!

They just sent them, we found them, and worked out how to disarm them by sending people in as Guinea pigs really, they wrote things down and used radio message to train the next Guinea pig! Same again really, they were trained in discipline, polishing boots, rifles and bayonets, not what to do with f***ing great unexploded bombs, but if they only had CSCS

On the positive side, if they got the disposal wrong, they will know which colour fire extinguisher to use, and keep to pedestrian routes while making a run for it
