Having run the same tractor as you, words can’t describe how much worse it is than a Kubota.
My solis lasted around twenty hours on its clock before I sold it, and I was sick of driving it after just two. The new Kubota has a hundred hours already.
A modern tractor not having a live PTO is like someone selling a mini digger still driven by winches, cables and a steam boiler
But if it works for you then grand. It looks pretty repairable but part supplies would be my worry.

Possibly the main difference, I went for the hydrostatic version, I wouldn't even bother with a compact tractor with gears personally. Regarding the Chargeur+ Machine, it was designed by Fred Cassuolet who sold the manufacturing to Chargeur as the whole thing got too big.
He still makes in his own works a kit machine, the Pheonix 400, & has developed an expanding tracks base for it. http://hho.fr/ph400vv-en.html
It can be bought in various stages of completion. The components are all European. It can come with or without a rotary union, the model without turns nearly 360 but with a stop that can relocate to either the right or left. A sort of mini Hymac 480 if anyone remembers them. The expanding track model is non union. Someone designed a wind out track expansion to try & get over this. I tried to get him interested in adding a brake to each track motor (one exists) to allow it to work & travel on greater slopes. The Cassuolet machines have been around for some years & been refined. His version retains a non powered 'pin adjust' offset as the Smalley used to have. His son sells the machine in Canada. Hyd components mostly Italian. I would say it was a better bet than the Carter / Rhinoceros machines.

no I have a 3 ton jcb but a 6 ton would be better for me now !! we’ve only done 700 hours in three years and the price of the carter is tempting but I can’t find any real reviews on the 6 which is abit of a stumbling block at the moment
