it also means you have worked very hard and been thrifty (certain sectors excluded - banker/brokers/etc.)
my retirement pot/funds didn't come on a silver plate -- have gone without on many occasions 'cos I couldn't afford it/wouldn't get into debt to have it, or foregone holidays/trips/whatever, 'cos I was too busy, making the pot.
WTF should i be categorised with the idle w⚓s who've done sod all, all their lives to ensure a better retirement ?? :mad:
I'll bet there're a few on here who can relate to this

They tried that with covid

And a few years ago 70 was life expectancy
But drug companies need to make lots of money so they insist on keeping people alive ,who shouldn't ,
