Spent the day upgrading the CCTV and can really recommend the Hikvision cameras. For the price the quality is amazing and being POE you don’t need to run a separate power to them :)(y). Also gave me a chance to try out this in anger. Bit of sway up at 35’ :poop: but well worth the few hundred quid punt off of eBay (y) Made the job really easy :)

Looks like Hikvision is going to replace the 2 year old camera that wasn't working as it's still within it's three year guarantee!! What a result and it didn't even cross my mind.

A new project has just arrived. Long story short, the charitable side in me let a charity keep a few fire engines at mine for sweet FA and unfortunately they shut down a few weeks ago :(. As a thank you for my input and help look what they have given me :eek::eek::D:D:D.

Spent the day fencing as I let a mate chuck his pony in a paddock with some others and WW3 broke out. One side done, just need to run the far side up to the far fence. The grounds already bloody hard out there, had very little rain here recently.

Anyone have any recommendations on single trip (new) 20’ shipping containers? Last one I bought, turned out the company I bought it off was hiring them off of another company and selling them 😡. Would be handy if they could also spray that condensation s**t on the inside of the roof.

I did track down the suppliers for the spray treatment a while back .... see if I can find their comm.s .... wasn't that dear TBH and if you've an empty container'd be an easy proposition to self apply .

OK.... bit of trawling and I have it ..... Grafotherm is the company ... this is a copy of an email quote in April 2016 [email protected] ... Glenn Coles

" Good morning Graham,
Thank you for your email.
You need 36Kg for each container = 72Kg @ £3.11Kg = £223.92 Plus Packing & carriage = £283.92 Plus VAT @ £56.78 = Total £340.70.
You will also need a texture spray gun. We sell these at £50 plus vat = £60

We do not take cards of any sort.
Materials will leave our factory within 2/3 days after monies have cleared our bank.
You will need to force dry our material after spraying with a large space heater until the summer.
Hope this is of help any questions please ring us.

Kind regards

Gwen

I bought single trip one from Cleveland Containers in Middlesbrough a year or two back and they were great. Container was like new and delivery etc all spot on.

I also had to insulate an old box gutter that was getting a lot of condensation on it inside a warehouse conversion we did. The guy doing the cladding put me on to this and it worked a treat

I picked some up from universal container services in Irlam, for a firm setting up a self storage yard, they where good clean one trip boxes, I got the impression they had shopped around for a decent deal.
