Can’t say I have used a 14t class doosan but 6-8t class. Loads of power, questionable quality, extremely questionable to grade with it’s not that you can’t it’s more you have to “learn” to grade with them rather than it working naturally.
Not a fan you wouldn’t buy one if you were driving it yourself. There cheaper for a reason but I personally don’t think there enough cheaper…
My e27 isn’t great to grade with. It’s an animal on the grab though.

They’re not cheaper any more! You want cheaper than mainstream it’s time to go Chinese! @Lee

you in my neck of the woods Digger? as lamberts is about 20 miles from me and I go past his yard when i go visit the sister at her place. One of the bigger players around here think only tru plant have more hire gear then him
Yeah just for 2 nights. I got them to put the pecker on because theres that many buttons you have press on this modern gear. Anyway i didn't think it was performing particularly well. I persevered till dinner time and thought we ain't gonna get this out ready for concrete next day.
Rang firm up, they put me through to a fitter. Anyway the valve under the floor hadn't been turned on😣 then you have to press buttons on the dash🤣

Oh loads of power just no refinement or quality in my opinion, also not great on fuel from my experience. A brand to be hashed about in a quarry on a fairly regular replacement program But that’s about all!

Haven’t tried the bigger sanys but love our doosan 6.3 feels like an 8t although it’s a similar footprint and actually more like 7.5t with a good bucket and fuel. Banner was quoting less than 60k for a 13t machine. Not sure how that compares as it’s not my market but I’d guess a really nice hitachi or Volvo must be north of 100k?

And here it is @V8Druid 🙈😁

Sooooo dx140lcr 5 zero swind with a blade brand fire new in Sept 17 4 pot perkins lump.

Dogged from day 1 with lack of feel in the levers and bounce in the lift rams, made worse by the wear in the boom foot.
Dealer was less than usless, blamed the tilt rotator....and there all like that 🙄

Its only just clicked over 2600hrs , been reliable otherwise , barring the frankly horrific addblue/ after treatment system, always had clean addblue in it, so far its had 4 sensors in the exhaust countless filters and finally the dealer threw the towel in and turned the add blue off.
Week later another knock sensor fault....I thought we'd turned that shite off ? "Ahhh that sensor is after the add blue system" thats another 400 notes 😬

Make that 5 sensors.

Take tilty off and it will dig for fun, its quick, and the fuel burn isnt terrible. It will never be a premium brand but for what it is and what it does its ok for me.

I went to look at a new dash 7 direct replacement for mine. Key fob to get in no key..how much are the fobs? Erm not sure need to check! Turns out their 500 quid a pop.

Opened the front screen and took the headlining out the cab with it, then it wouldnt start, so I couldnt try it. Needless to say I walked away from that deal as a complete none starter (literally)

If I was going to buy anything , it would be a Hydrema but thats a story for another day.

Just my 2 pence worth.

Machine looks first class it’s a shame you don’t like it. Not sure what could be done with the seat bar changing it, but it would be worth speaking to the case dealer about lack of power they should be able to “tweek it”. Volvo did it with a new 140 a friend drives anyway.
Volvo ecr145E is a hard act to follow they sit rock solid, buttery smooth, plenty of lift and don’t lack power in anyway!
