In 2008, oil price peaked around $150 /barrel, but todays pump price is about 50% higher than it was in 2008.

The only countries on the up seem to be Eastern Europe and then your on top of Putin.
Everywhere is having social economic problems really. I would like to do France. More just the lifestyle than any economic advantage.
Australia seems to be having red tape issues.
New Zealand is very expensive and not a huge amount of jobs.
I think quite possibly the only thing to do right now is hold on tight and get ready for a bumpy ride.
