Not really though - there is big profit being made by fuel suppliers, and the gov is receiving a much greater tax-take than if prices were lower.
I cannot believe there aren’t any protests!!!

In 2008, oil price peaked around $150 /barrel, but todays pump price is about 50% higher than it was in 2008.
